Katerina

Dr Katerina Politis brings a strong medical and scientific foundation to her cosmetic practice. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University, having previously majored in pathology during her Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.

Following her medical degree, Katerina trained as an anatomical pathology registrar across leading Victorian hospitals, where her work in dermatopathology and oncology reporting gave her a detailed, microscope-level understanding of skin and tissue. She has also completed a Master of Health Administration at Monash University and is an accredited trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

Katerina has worked in cosmetic medicine since 2018, building on her formal aesthetic training with continuing education through industry-leading suppliers. She brings a careful, considered approach to facial assessment, drawing on her pathology background to inform a deeper understanding of the skin and structural anatomy that underpin safe, natural-looking results. Her clinical rigour extends to the assessment and management of procedural complications, ensuring her patients are supported with the highest standard of care.

Katerina holds memberships with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners, and the Australian Medical Association.
